THATS RIGHT, I SAID CUSTOM!
In truth.. i was doodling without looking at the reference...

So instead of going for direct reference i decided to go for it my way, my style. The big sword idea is from onimusha 3's Kuga (the wind sword) and that dinky knife.. i just have the need to draw one. Almost every character here is drawn following the reference's color and look indirectly. AGH HECK, LETS JUST SAY ITS CUSTOM! lol.

drawing is broken down to three parts: Omega, His hand, and the groupie
coloring took 8 hours in 2 days; 2-4 hours a day.
Pigma Micron, 0.5 mm mech, Photoshop 5, Photopaint 9

Afraid I'm not too familiar with the subject matter, but I really like the construction of the picture, and the colours work really really well. It's very good - more stuff like this please :)
