I think the picture is amazing, the colouring is great, and for some reason the blue lineart really seems to set it off. The background looks great, I like the way you kept it nice and simplistic.

I adore the action going on in this picture :D I also like the sword and the clouds in particular.

Overall, I think you most definitely have improved, especially in making dynamic and interesting poses. This picture also has more contrast than usual, which is wonderful :D You also have a good sense of when things can be sketchy and by how much :nod:

CC: Your lineart should be darker than all the colors in the picture. I'm not saying it can't be blue, but if you greyscale the entire image and you can't see the lineart in some places (like the pants), then your lines need to be darker. Having them the same lightness/darkness as the coloring confuses the eye and detracts from the picture. ^^;

Love the action :D The sketchy lines really add a sense of movement to the character, and the background has a very traditional japanese woodcarving style :D + fav

Really cool stance, and the background seems so funky and different from the colouring of the guy, which gives it....i dunno, but to me, gives it some wierd sense of originality. Awesome drawing!
